Hernando Beach is a quiet canal community on Florida's Nature Coast, about an hour north of Tampa. The neighborhood is mostly full-time residents and seasonal visitors — calm streets, easy walking, and a slower pace than the busier Gulf beaches further south. A car is strongly recommended. Hernando Beach is a residential canal community without ride-share coverage or public transit, and local restaurants and shops are spread out. Most guests drive in from Tampa (about 1 hour) or Orlando (about 2 hours). The driveway accommodates 3-4 vehicles. If you're arriving by boat, the dock has indirect Gulf access — message us in advance for draft and clearance details, and information about the lift.

We're available by message anytime during your stay and respond within an hour during normal hours. Check-in is fully self-service via smart lock, so you're not waiting on anyone to arrive. If anything comes up — a question about the kayaks, a recommendation for dinner, an issue with the property — just message us and we'll handle it. We aim to be present without being intrusive.

🧾 Age Requirement: The primary guest making the reservation must be at least 21 years old at the time of booking. 🐾 Pet Policy: We allow up to 2 dogs on the property with a fee, if you are traveling with a registered service animal, please contact our reservations team in advance for proper documentation and registration procedures. 💳 Refundable Damage Hold: A $200 hold will be placed on your payment method 2 days prior to arrival as a standard precaution. If no damages or violations are reported, the full amount will be released within 7 business days after your departure. 🚭 No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Evidence of smoking indoors will result in penalties and additional cleaning fees. 👥 Occupancy Limits & Events: The maximum occupancy of 8 guests must be respected at all times. Parties or events that exceed the allowed guest count or disturb the peace are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal and fines. 🔐 Identity Verification & Rental Agreement: After booking, the primary guest is required to sign a rental agreement and submit a verification form, including a government-issued ID and a selfie. These steps must be completed immediately after booking. Failure to fulfill all requirements will result in denial of access to the property and no refund.
