This Privacy Policy explains how Marisol & Co. Hospitality Group (“Marisol & Co.,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit marisolandco.com, book a stay, or contact us about managing your property. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly — your name, email address, phone number, and any message or details you provide when you make a booking, fill out our contact or property-owner forms, or sign up to receive guides and offers. When you book a stay, our booking partner collects the reservation and payment details needed to complete it. We also collect some information automatically as you browse, including your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and the links that referred you, through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to confirm and support your reservation, respond to your inquiries, send booking confirmations and service messages, provide property-management information to owners who request it, send marketing or guide emails you have opted into, improve our site and listings, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
3. Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe through our booking partner, Guesty. We never receive or store your full card number — that information goes directly to our payment processors. We retain only the booking and billing records we need to manage your stay and our accounts.
4. How we share information
We share information with the service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed to provide our services: Guesty (bookings and reservation management), Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (data hosting), Resend (email delivery), Mapbox (maps on our listings), Google Analytics (site-usage measurement), and Netlify (website hosting). We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure traffic and improve the experience; Google may set cookies and process usage data on our behalf. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our services, maintain our business and accounting records, resolve disputes, and comply with the law. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we work with established processors such as Stripe and Guesty that maintain their own security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any message or by contacting us. Depending on where you live — including Florida residents under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights — you may have additional rights over your data. To make a request, email support@marisolandco.com and we will respond as required by law.
9. Children's privacy
Our site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites, such as our social media pages or partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies before sharing your information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
